Ancestors Remembrance Day - Wednesday November 11, 2026

Join us for our annual Ancestors Remembrance Day on Wednesday November 11th at the Khalifah Family Farm, located on a part of General Nat Turner's ancestral birthland in Southampton County, Virginia.  This day honors honoring General Nat Tuner on the anniversary of his transition on November 11, 1831. A day of ancestral veneration featuring music, drum, performances, African Marketplace vendors, and guest lecturer Dr. Umar Ifatunde. Meet up at the Khalifah Family Farm located 26070 Barhams Hill Road, Drewryville, VA  23844.  This is the event location for the day.

The day starts at 11:00am - meetup for the Nat Turner Mobile War Trail Tour led by Bro. Khalifah, for a 12 noon departure.  Following the tour, at 3:00pm, features a day of culture.  A family-friendly event.  Join us for a day of ancestral appreciation.  

Adult Ticket: Includes event and Nat Turner Mobile War Trail Tour, event and plant-based dinner.

Children: 12 & Under FREE admission.
